I have had psychic gifts since I was a child.  Unfortunately, these gifts were developed to keep me safe while growing up in a very unpredictable environment.

Even though I have these gifts and use them daily, I am probably the biggest skeptic of all.  Let me explain…..

In my personal experience, my psychic gifts have proven useful to me.  I have given so many psychic readings, and I’m always left afterward feeling a bit out of sorts.  There has always been a thread of disappointment after I give a reading to someone.  I think I’ve finally pinpointed what this disappointment is for me and why I remain skeptic of psychic readings.  (Even though some may view this as a complete contradiction since I am psychic…. stay with me… you’ll see my point.)

In the last 6 months, I have personally had 2 readings done by *psychics* who didn’t see, know, or encourage my own ability.  I did these readings for fun, and I wanted to really sit on the other side of a reading to learn what it feels like to have a stranger read energy and communicate it to me.

The first woman was a very odd person.  She gave me a strict tarot reading in person, told me my daughter was a slut (yes, she used those words amongst other very negative connotations), and then tried to charge me double.

The second woman was more quiet and did a phone tarot reading.  She was at least a bit more on the mark in her reading and communication, but there were threads of patronizing communication for something that she misinterpreted.  (If I have ever done that, I am SO sorry!)

After each reading, I was left feeling empty.  Even though I am psychic and knew they were each reading things incorrectly, it was hard to shake off.

Psychic readings should empower a person, help a person see and feel every avenue of choice and encourage a perspective of overall goodness.  These three things should make up the benefits of a psychic reading!

Now my skepticism…..

It is not that I do not believe in psychic ability, because I clearly do…..

It is my personal belief that everyone should develop and learn to use their own intuitive ability.  I believe this with every single part of me and I believe even further that using intuition should be a grade school subject.

The core reasoning for this belief is:  I do believe that people, while going through crisis and emotional upheaval, should be looking inside of themselves for answers and healing.

The bottom line is:  No one outside of yourself has the answers that will help you do what is best for you!  This is where my skeptism roots.

Our life experiences may resemble anothers life experience, but our choices will always be different based on many different factors.  The most talented psychics (I hope I’m one), will give the reading in a way that empowers you to make healthier decisions AND increase your intuitive, higher self!

Instead of seeking a one time psychic reading, why not seek to develop one’s own psychic gifts?  Why not learn to use divinatory methods and seek to understand your higher self?  Why not invest in free psychic readings for life, courtesy of your higher self?

In the last few months, this is how I’ve been approaching my readings with people.  I have been going up, over, and beyond in my service to the collective consciousness of higher selves.  I have taken a different approach to help my clients, not through momentary information alone, but also by teaching tools to help them heal.  I send each client with information on tools they can use to further their personal healing to grow into their own pod of conscious joy.

The result of healing, is growing.
